The Lillooet area has a vast choice of activities for the visitor to enjoy to keep you busy for several days.:

Hiking -there are some spectacular trails in the area. The Lillooet Naturalist Society has published a book called “Canyon to Alpine, 25 walks”, detailing the trails and their difficulty. We have a copy for your use.

Fishing and Swimming in beautiful Seton Lake only 6 k from Lillooet.

There is a nice shaded park there with swimming beach, picnic tables and boat launch. Canoes, kayaks and pedal boat rentals on site.

Lilloet and the surrounding areas are a birders paradise with over 250 different birds sighted. We have two hummingbird feeders plus a regular feeder on our deck and they are constantly busy.

Fish for giant sturgeon in the Fraser River – they get up to 10 ft in length. It‘s catch and release only. There is a sturgeon fishing derby each year in July.

* Jade Walk

Walk the main street of Lillooet and see the dozens of large jade pieces mined in the area and see the cairn marking mile 0 of the Gold Rush trail.

* See Hangman’s park where it is rumoured that the famous Judge Begbie hung a dozen outlaws. The hanging tree has been cut down but it is on display in the park.

* Take a First Nations cultural tour
